TOUR SERIES – SWITCHBACK
The Switchback is a lightweight, technically sophisticated backpack with alpine features for demanding ski tours. One particularly practical feature is quick access to equipment – shoulder and hip pockets, a side compartment for crampons, climbing skins, ski crampons and a rope can all be easily accessed without having to remove the backpack.
Emergency equipment and a light ice axe stored in the separate safety compartment can be grabbed quickly in an emergency, while all items in the main compartment can be accessed via the fully fold-out back. Two ice axe holders, a daisy chain, a rope attachment and a helmet net complement the versatile attachment options. When heavily loaded, the ergonomic Full Contact Light Back System distributes the load optimally across the back. If the backpack is not too full, the volume can be effectively reduced using the A-Skifix 3-point compression straps.
PUNTA BERRINO SERIES
From after-work adventures to multi-day tours, the Punta Berrino line of jackets and pants for men and women combines function with lightness. The soft Merino Airsolation softshell material is robust, breathable and wind- and water-resistant. The temperature- and moisture-regulating merino wool on the inside feels soft against the skin and provides light insulation. The athletically cut line’s features are geared toward demanding ski tourers – two large front pockets to the ergonomically cut sleeves, adjustable waistband, two spacious hip pockets, SCHOELLER protection against sharp edges and adjustable ankle cuffs.
SWISSWOOL PIZ BOÈ JACKET
Moisture-regulating 60 g/m² Swisswool lining means the Swisswool Piz Boè Jacket offers an ideal weight-to-insulation ratio on cold days, while the windproof, water-resistant PERTEX Quantum outer material protects against the elements. The elastic Merino Airsolation stretch inserts under the arms and on the back have high breathability and ensure optimum freedom of movement in challenging terrain. Cleverly positioned breast pockets can be easily accessed even when wearing a backpack or harness while the pre-adjusted hood with softshell edge, elastic cuffs and waistband cut out wind and cold.
MERINO THERMOVENT SHORTPANTS
Developed for long days spent touring, the Thermovent line combines lightness and warmth. A reliable base, functional and comfortable for vertical metre after vertical metre with the 95% merino wool design enjoying weight-to-insulation ratio and smart 3D body mapping. The breathable mesh structure on the thighs means this super lightweight base layer guarantees ideal ventilation and moisture management while providing excellent heat retention. A special knit structure in the knee area provides protection and ensures warm joints, while an opaque knit is used in sensitive areas..
AVABAG LiTRIC TOUR SERIES
The Avabag LiTRIC Tour series offers a balance between comfort for the ascent and support for the descent, complementing the complete outfit. The avalanche airbag backpack consists of an airbag base that features an integrated LiTRIC™ system and is geared towards ski tourers. Available in two back lengths, the base can be combined with corresponding zip-on bags from the Tour and Freeride series, each available in two sizes.
The lightweight Full Contact Light back system provides a high level of comfort, even on long tours. A circumferential zipper for quick access to the main compartment, and features such as ski, splitboard and rope attachments and an ice axe holder round off this impressive complete package.
DIRACT VOICE
The Diract Voice is the world’s first avalanche transceiver with integrated voice navigation, reliably and quickly guiding rescuers to burial victims in an emergency. The clear, distinct voice commands provide reassuring security in every phase of the search. The display is exceptionally stable from first reception, which reduces stress in an emergency situation and helps speed up the search.
The three-antenna device comes equipped with Smart-Antenna Technology, which analyses the device’s location in the avalanche and automatically switches to the best transmitting antenna. Secondary avalanche protection automatically switches from search-and-standby mode to transmit mode to guarantee the searcher full protection.
Even in extreme light conditions, the full-graphic, extra-large screen is easy to read and, thanks to clear instructions and a 360-degree real-time display, ensures intuitive user guidance in stressful situations.
