Integrated, cuff style neck protection keeps wearers comfy and protected against the wind and cold, whilst an internal footbox design with easy snap button and cord closure gives the versatility to use as a sleeping bag, saving weight on carrying multiple pieces of kit when travelling light and every gram counts.
Lightweight, super compressible and suitable even for side sleepers inside a hammock, these clever products are also a superb solution for traditional ground camping set ups when paired with a sleeping pad. Staying true to TTTM’s sustainable heritage, the Moonblanket Compact has been consciously constructed with 100% recycled PET, ECODOWN insulation by Thermore. Vegan friendly and entirely animal free, this high-performance insulation offers incredible warmth, softness and functionality.
With comparable longevity and performance to non-ethical alternatives, the Moonblanket compact offers a 5°C comfort rating and is conveniently machine washable (wool setting, 30 degrees), with like new, full loftiness returned with a quick spin in the tumble dryer.
Neatly packaged in the iconic crescent shaped TTTM pod (which can also be extended to carry a whole hammock and underquilt too), this nifty accessory is light on weight as well the planet, weighing in at just 810g. It can be easily popped in a bag or backpack ready to be deployed when you need a protection against cold, wind or rain. Simply adjust the snap buttons and draw cords accordingly to use as a poncho, top/underblanket or convert into sleeping bag mode.
The Moonblanket Pro collection offers protection and versatility in a lightweight, convertible design, crafted with consciously selected, high performance materials to deliver warmth and wind protection in more extreme conditions.
Featuring a lightweight 20 Denier downproof Nylon outer, Moonblanket Pro is insulated using Nikwax Hydrophobic DWR & RDS certified Duck Down. PFC free, this premium material exceeded 10,000 minutes on the industry IDFB 18a Shake Test. That’s seven days of constant exposure to water, maintaining insulation and breathability even in inclement conditions.
A hybrid design allows the blanket to be worn poncho style and then easily reconfigured into a cocoon-like bivvy bag for use inside a standard hammock or other sleeping solution during overnight adventures. Choose from two weights – the Moonblanket 850, weighing in at just 820g, provides protection in sub-zero conditions down to -1°C; or for warmer days of 2°C or above the superlight Moonblanket 650, weighing 760g. Both styles are packaged in the iconic TTTM pouch, ready for when adventure calls.
