After three years of research and development with a team of active riders, an MTB-specific collection will be on sale this Autumn.
The socks come in three weights – Winter, Mid-Season and Summer – in both men’s and women’s fit. Knitted with Bridgedale’s renowned comfort and durability DNA in its factory in Newtownards, all feature a range of unique technical feature detail defined and called for by the test team.
Amongst these are two industry firsts – an anatomical vibration dampening footbed and asymmetric foot specific cushioning, reflecting the different demands of pedalling hard to those of trekking and hiking.
When the first Bridgedale outdoor socks were launched in the early 1980s there were three colours, two sizes and two lengths. Now there are over 500 products in the range and factories not only in Northern Ireland but also South Africa.
