Danish outdoor brand ROBENS has scored not one nor two but three wins at the prestigious ISPO AWARDS. The winning products are a new UL trekking pole tent, a quilt, and a mat – each stripped of every unnecessary gram.
Ultralight trekking gear has until now been reserved for hardcore outdoor enthusiasts. The ISPO jury sees great potential in the new concept from Robens making ultralight gear intuitive and accessible to the many who want to pursue their outdoor passion.
Based on the philosophy that less weight creates more freedom, Robens has reinvented the whole package for those who want to go light. The Robens Ultralight concept resonated strongly with the jury, who at this year’s ISPO Awards honoured the Via 2 UL, the Scoria Quilt UL, and the LightCore UL.
Michael Bruun, Group Sourcing Director at Robens, said, “We have removed the complexity from ultralight gear by reinventing the concept to make it focused and intuitive. What was once reserved for hardcore experts is now available to anyone wishing to make their adventures lighter. The Robens Ultralight range includes everything you need, making it easy to get out on the trail.”

Global sports platform ISPO honours the most innovative products and services in the sports industry with the ISPO Award. The ISPO Award jury consists of international experts from the sports business and consumer experts from the ISPO Collaborators Club.
It combines technical know-how and practical relevance and evaluates the best outdoor products according to criteria such as innovation factor, sustainability, quality and workmanship, and price-performance ratio.
