UK outdoor equipment manufacturer Vango has launched its collection of tents, rucksacks, sleeping bags, awnings, essentials and furniture for 2021, in preparation for what looks like another year of British staycations and a camping first for many.
Adopting a new strapline of ‘Better with Vango’, the collection presents one of the most innovative range of products the company has ever released.
With a twelve-year history of upcycling and recycling camping equipment through both Vango’s Camping Recycled business and its Spares and Repairs service, Vango’s sustainable efforts are taken one step further with the launch of the Earth Collection.
From AirBeam and poled tents to sleeping bags, furniture and rucksacks, all models across this range share one key topical theme – they are built using recycled single-use plastics. The range utilises new materials and innovative features to further maximise the user experience, whilst being kind to the environment and ultimately creating a more sustainable outdoor space.
Rob Birrell, Vango’s Marketing Director, said, “The pandemic backdrop has seen more people than ever engage with outdoor activities and explore the opportunities we have right on our doorstep to enjoy nature and the open spaces around us.
“We feel the appetite for staycations is a trend set to continue into next year and beyond, so the team here at Vango wanted to make the collection for 2021 one of our best yet, making getting outdoors as easy and enjoyable as ever.”
The new collection for 2021 is further strengthened by the expansion of Vango’s award-winning Radiate technology. This features a pioneering, built-in Graphene heating element to bring even more comfort and luxury to outdoor adventures. Building on its ISPO trade show award winner Radiate sleeping bag, the collection has extended to now include a new double heated family sleeping bag and a range of chairs, all with heated lumber areas. A heated lumber support pillow is also available, designed to fit on Vango chairs from previous seasons.
