Rab’s roots lie in sleeping bags and, driven by data, the brand continues to push the boundaries of technology, functionality, and comfort. Whether it’s the careful balance of warmth and weight or the continual development of new tech, Rab bags are designed to be efficient in the environment they’re used. Whilst down bags are carefully hand filled in Derbyshire, the brand still seeks effective, yet environmentally friendly, synthetic solutions.
The new ranges of sleeping bags integrate industry leading technologies with sustainable credentials. Rab bag designers aim to retain heat efficiently and utilise more recycled fabrics than ever before, sourced and tested to the same high standards as non-recycled counterparts. With innovative tech and refinement built on years of experience, they have been engineered for a lifetime of rigorous mountain use.

Solar Eco sleeping bags are the premium sustainable choice, made with 100% recycled materials and concertina style construction, trapping air to boost loft and warmth. Ideal for camping, backpacking and mountain trekking, especially in cold and changeable weather.

Durable and dependable, the Solar Ultra series offers superior performance in cold and damp conditions thanks to recycled Stratus™ synthetic sheet insulation. Triple layer blanket construction is engineered to form a heat trapping concertina layer, combined with TILT technology and offset localised quilting, reducing radiant heat loss and minimising cold transmission. Hard wearing and highly efficient, the Solar Ultra comes in three weights.

Updated for SS22 with a GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® outer, the Andes Infinium bags offers similar warmth to the Expedition range but with a slimmer shape, reducing pack volume and maximising the warmth to weight ratio. Filled with 800 fill power goose down, the Andes Infinium is constructed with TILT technology designed to reflect heat inwards and reduce radiant heat loss. The outer provides strong and breathable protection combined with zoned trapezoidal boxwall construction, to maximise loft and insulation for optimal comfort during clear, cold nights.

Delivering a high warmth to weight ratio and now built with recycled materials and featuring a PFC-free DWR, the updated Neutrino bags are lightweight in packs and on the planet. Suited to mountaineering, lightweight backpacking or bikepacking trips.

The Alpine bags are premium duck down bags with a slim fitting shape. Featuring Pertex® Quantum fabric and recycled nylon, it offers a good balance of comfort, weight and warmth for cold temperatures on winter alpine missions.
