For years, if not decades, outdoor industry observers saw a synergy between outdoor and cycling. When it comes to trade shows, it doesn’t exist. Then came outdoor and country clothing. That made more sense strategically but ‘outdoor’ was still locked into its old order. The world has changed. Outdoor is all-embracing.
A notable addition to the country clothing brands, including the iconic New Zealand Swanndri and Ridgeline brands, exhibiting at last year’s UK Outdoor Trade Show, Swedish field sports and outdoor clothing brand PINEWOOD has announced a partnership with THE NATIONAL GAMEKEEPERS’ ORGANISATION (NGO).
Recently re-launched in the UK, Pinewood already has a strong following amongst gundog owners and trainers. The NGO website states it condemns all wildlife crime, including offences against birds of prey, and will not tolerate such actions among its membership.
UK agent Tomas Torstensson said, “As a Swede I am thrilled to be representing Pinewood in the UK and am looking forward to our partnership with the NGO with whom we have many shared values.” Essentially, Pinewood becomes a sponsor of the NGO to help them continue to promote gamekeeping and the welfare of gamekeepers amongst other initiatives.
Pinewood’s Managing Director, Andreas Esbjörnsson added, “The UK is a key market for us and we are very happy to be partnering with the NGO and look forward to supporting Tomas, Linda and the UK team as they develop this partnership for the future.”
Pinewood will be visible partners with them at shows throughout the year, starting with The Great British Shooting Show at the NEC next month, then The Stalking Show in April, alongside other shows and events during the summer.
