Founded in 1973, ROBENS was acquired by Oase Outdoors in 2000 and went through a relaunch in 2012, including a new logo. This year, as it celebrates fifty years of camping innovation and style, its Outback tents capture the pioneer spirit of old, using new materials and production methods to boost reliable, durable, all-weather performance.
HydroTex Polycotton offers cotton’s high water resistance while allowing water vapour to escape. The resulting microclimate minimises condensation and stabilises temperature extremes. The use of aluminium alloy for poles offers a great strength to weight ratio, ensuring high performance from a stable, light support that makes for easier pitching and transportation. Heavier than synthetic fabrics, the polycotton is far quieter in windy conditions and reduces external noise.

Robens continues to build on the retro appeal of its popular Outback range with two new models. Perfect for the wilderness enthusiast or those enjoying an outdoor lifestyle, the sturdy Yurt offers a great living area with lots of headroom and space to move around. And the much-loved Klondike design evolves into a big sibling with the addition of the Klondike Twin, an eye-catching vis-à-vis basecamp for larger groups.
While ideal for warmer conditions, the addition of a stove pipe port and a zip-flap groundsheet in both the Yurt and Klondike Twin allow the use of an optional woodburning stove to keep things snug when temperatures fall.

Comfort for seven is provided by the space and headroom found in the six-legged Yurt, making it an ideal communal area. The Yurt’s space is also perfect for glamping as it offers plenty of adaptable space to fit out the tents for a luxury camping experience. Features include adjustable lantern hanging points; large, tinted panorama view windows; huge mesh panel in front door plus covered low-level vents front and rear for ventilation.
Designed for groups and adventurous families, the Klondike Twin unites two of the popular Klondike models to create a living/communal space for up to 12 people. Optional dark four-berth inners create vis-à-vis living around a central area perfect for a tent stove. Excellent ventilation includes the unique Robens apex vent and low-level vents.
