The EVA midsole provides a comfy fit and good transition while the outsole’s multi-directional lug pattern provides exceptional grip and superior acceleration and braking.
The Katabatic Low is also available with a waterproof membrane – B-Dry – which not only keeps feet comfortable but also dry every step of the way. Often compromises are made to make a shoe light and fast but not with the Katabatic Mid Waterproof & Non-Waterproof.
The bio-mechanically designed outsole offers full foot protection combined with its lightest midsole to date and a highly abrasion[1]resistant lining. The Katabatic Mid has the hallmarks of a light and fast shoe combined with all the features of a true hiking boot: support, stability, protection, and performance.
The highly breathable waterproof Katabatic Mid is engineered to move fast in the hills and built for wet weather with a non-waterproof option for drier, warm days.
