Helinox, the leading global brand of ultra-lightweight, highly portable outdoor furniture, is upping the comfort and lifestyle stakes for 2022. Reflecting the surge of interest in outdoor living prompted by the pandemic, the brand is launching products to help its customers to ‘feel at home anywhere’.
New lines include an ultra-lightweight chair, ‘live from anywhere’ furniture, a dog cot and shade product. The 2022 Helinox collection will be available spring next year online and from selected specialist retailers.
Chair Zero High Back
Designed for people looking for shoulder support and the lightest possible chair weight. New to the ultra-lightweight range, the Chair Zero High Back weighs only 690g (just 20% more than the Chair Zero) and has a capacity of 120kg. Combining DAC aluminium with a tough and lightweight poly ripstop seat, it’s an extremely portable high back chair, that packs into a bag only 40cm x 12cm x 12cm.
Café Chair and Café Table
Part of the new ‘live from anywhere’ collection, the Café Table and Chair have a taller and more upright frame than other Helinox products, making them ideal for those who want to cook, eat, play games and work.
The Café Chair uses the same silhouette as the Chair One Large, but with a higher seat height and more upright back (by 12°). Weighing 1.4kg, with a capacity of 145kg, it packs down into a bag that’s 62cm x 19cm x 12cm, so can be easily carried and neatly stored.
The Café Table is big and high enough (68cm off the ground) for two people to sit down and eat together, and its capacity of 50kg makes it a sturdy & stable surface, ideal for a wide range of uses. It has a premium wipe-clean laminate top, heat resistant to 180° Celsius, so is handy for preparing and serving hot food. It weighs 3.85kg and packs down flat into a carry case easily stowed in a car boot, campervan or caravan.
Elevated Dog Cots
The new Helinox Elevated Dog Cot comes in two sizes – medium at 90cm x 60cm (1.41kg) and large at 100cm x 70cm (1.56kg). Combing DAC aluminium with a strong, claw resistant mesh, the cot gives dogs a place to sleep that’s raised off the ground. That’s great for tick prevention and for air circulation during warm weather. Helinox has also created durable synthetic and fleece insulation accessories for the cots for use in cooler conditions.
Pivot Shade
After the success of the Royal Box Shade in 2021, Helinox has added the Pivot Shade to its range for 2022. Lightweight and portable, the shade is easy to pitch on the beach, campsite or park. Once set up, the innovative design allows users to ‘pivot’, adjusting the shade to adapt to the sun’s position in the sky.
It offers shade and UV ray protection for up to four people throughout the day. Using SPF 50 rated fabric with reinforced stitching, the Pivot Shade weighs under 3.5kg and packs down into a small carry bag that’s just 63cm x 19cm x 19cm.
