Fastlane 300 is the latest stand-alone quick-pitch shelter from Scandinavian camping specialist OUTWELL. Versatility is key to the design as it offers outdoor protection and storage on the campsite, in the garden and at outdoor events.
The shelter is made from Outtex 1500 Pro Silver – a double thread weave polyester designed to balance weight and strength with the durability to resist the demands of outdoor life. It has a 1,500mm hydrostatic head and a silver coating to reflect heat and the fabric provides a UPF 50+ sun protection factor.
Stability is provided by the steel Rapid-pitch Fast System that uses joints and telescopic poles to simply pull and lock into place. The Outwell Wind Stabilizer System that directly connects fabric to poles to peg, ensures a correctly pitched Fastlane 300 can withstand Force 8 winds.
Once erected, two sides can open as canopies using optional king poles or rolled open and toggled back. The other two sides can be unzipped completely to create an open gazebo. When closed, two walls feature tinted windows with toggle up curtains – ideal to keep out the sun’s glare and prying eyes.
Campervan owners will appreciate the Fastlane 300 vehicle Connector that provides a secure weatherproof walkway between the shelter and vehicle. Perfect for VW California size units, Vehicle Connectors can be added to link numerous vans around a central living area.
