For Spring/Summer 2023, British backpack brand LOWE ALPINE has updated its popular AirZone Trail range, ks, designed for hiking and all-mountain adventures. While keeping the iconic features of the highly successful AirZoneTM carry system, the eight packs for men and women feature a new carry system that creates superior ventilation, breathability and comfort.
Based on extensive lab and field testing, the new packs have undergone a comprehensive update, resulting in even greater comfort accompanied by a fresh design. The AirZoneTM carry system’s new convection channel allows heat and warm air to escape out of the top. A vent hole between the user’s shoulders encourages heat dissipation, improving air flow, reducing heat build-up and keeping the back panel cooler than older models.
Further, reducing the harness’ contact area by 10% helps keep the user comfortable. A new harness foam and construction ‘provide outstanding support and long-term performance from the first outing through a lifetime of adventures.’
Tim Fish, Lowe Alpine Product Director, said, “The AirZone Trail packs are some of Lowe Alpine’s most recognised hiking packs. Updating this important range with some of our most advanced technologies and features is a huge step forward and make these packs a great choice for consumers looking for a highly comfortable, versatile pack for their outdoor adventures.”
The new AirZone Trail packs feature a 50% recycled nylon body fabric and a polyester lining fabric; all AirZone Trail packs are fluorocarbon free.
