General Manager – Perth Outdoor Experience

Our managers are central to driving the commercial performance of our stores and leading from the front to build the success of their store.

We are looking for a General Manager to join our Perth Outdoor Experience store. This is a flagship location within the Tiso estate which carries the largest range of all product categories including outdoor, mountain, bike and ski.

This role would suit a talented and driven store manager with a keen interest in the outdoors. The position is full time, and the successful candidate will be expected to be flexible to ensure that they meet the needs of the role.


What does a day look like?

Our stores can be incredibly varied, and no two days are ever quite the same! However, you can expect to:

  • Drive store performance to ensure that your store the agreed KPI targets are met and exceeded.
  • Present commercial ideas and identify opportunities to improve performance of the store.
  • Lead the instore management team effectively to promote efficiency, discipline and productivity.
  • Motivate and develop the team and colleagues to build their strengths and abilities.
  • Monitor and assess store stock levels to react to sales trends and mitigate against lost sales.
  • Assess and react to performance of all sales categories v budget and in relation to other group stores.
  • Help set and maintain standards in all areas to support an engaging and stimulating environment and compelling proposition.
  • Plan and execute in-store promotions, visual merchandising and product handling.
  • Take responsibility for health and safety management, and stock loss within the store in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Build commercial relationships with our café partners, ensuring a consistent customer experience across the store.
  • Work closely alongside the Head of Retail and Head of Customer Experience

  • Able to balance priorities in a fast paced, constantly changing environment to meet tight deadlines and targets
