The last few years has shown significant growth both domestically and internationally, with ambitious plans for the future, this has led to an exciting opportunity for a driven and professional Independent Sales Rep/Trainer & Merchandiser for the North.


The Role:

Reporting into the UK Outdoor Sales Manager, this role is for someone with a passion for training, merchandising and an interest in business development. The ideal applicant will be able to deliver effective product training and strategic merchandising in an outdoor retail environment, whilst successfully managing independent accounts to maximise sales and brand awareness.



 Key responsibilities:

  • Professionally represent the Grangers brand while delivering effective training strategies, both in-person and virtually, tailoring to the needs of individual retailers.
  • Optimise Grangers product representation in retail spaces to drive brand awareness.
  • Employ effective route planning to ensure efficient coverage of the northern account base.
  • Manage an allocated independent account base, developing relationships with decision makers to develop sales and identify growth opportunities.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives with retailers.
  • Effectively manage an 80:20 split between training and merchandising vs account management.


The ideal candidate will:

  • Be proficient in retail training.
  • Demonstrate experience in merchandising.
  • Show interest in developing sales opportunities.
  • Be open to travelling within the northern territory, comfortable with regular overnight stays away from home.
  • Demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude and be a team player, proactive, positive, and enthusiastic.
  • Show passion, flexibility and a willingness to learn and accept guidance.
  • Manage time effectively, willing to work to tight deadlines when necessary.
  • Respectfully communicate with customers, always professionally representing the brand.
  • Be conveniently located to service the northern accounts including Scotland.




While Grangers Head Office is located in Derbyshire, this is a full-time, mobile position with weekly domestic travel required for in-store training as well as occasional events and trade shows. For the right candidate, we can offer an exciting career path within an innovative, fast-growing and dynamic business.
