For Spring 2023, GREGORY MOUNTAIN PRODUCTS, responsible over 45 years for many industry firsts in backpacking fit and design, is introducing a complete redesign of backpacking and hiking packs. Long-standing fan favourites – Zulu, Jade, Miko and Maya – see significant updates to the suspension system for a more precise fit and comfortable carry.
In the ventilated backpacking and hiking category, Zulu and women’s Jade see a considerable update with a more supportive and comfortable suspension system, dynamic carry, improved torso adjustment and recycled materials.

The new FreeFloat dynamic hip belt moves with the body for energy-saving comfort on the trail with additional hip belt padding offering a comfortable body-hugging fit. The suspended, open-air backpanel increases ventilation and offers a precise fit with 3.5 inches of adjustability.

Using recycled materials and a data-driven life cycle analysis tool, Gregory was also able to reduce the carbon footprint of each new pack by 26% (Zulu 55). Four capacities range from the Zulu 30 & Jade 28 to Zulu 65 & Jade 63.

The Miko and women’s Maya are built for day hikes, quick escapes or country adventures. The new BioSync suspension system with elasticised shoulder harness and hip belt provide body-hugging comfort and a dynamic carry.
An easily adjustable backpanel has 3.5 inches of flexibility for a precise fit and the cool contour foam backpanel and shoulder harness promote airflow for added breathability. With four capacities, ranging from 15 to 30 litres, outdoor enthusiasts can find the best size for any adventure.

Both packs are also available in plus sizes, supporting Gregory’s commitment to inclusivity in the outdoors. Similar to the Zulu and Jade, Gregory was also able to reduce the carbon footprint of each new pack by 26% (Miko 20) by using recycled materials and its data-driven lifecycle analysis tool.
