Outdoor, camping and bushcraft brand PETROMAX has introduced a collection of high performance premium cool boxes to the UK. The robust boxes are claimed to keep items cool for up to twelve days without electricity. Available in three sizes, the range is ideal for family camping trips and other extended excursions.
The sturdy Petromax kx25, kx50 and kx75 cool boxes are made using ultra-passive cooling systems, designed for extended outdoor use. The boxes are ‘powered’ by ice and once it has been added, the double-walled PE-corpus and strong PU-insulation will keep that and the other contents cool for up to 12 days.
Melting water can be drained any time via the integrated drain system. The extremely durable construction also offers a stable seat or space to stand. Belt guides enable safe lashing in a load area, or on a boat, and the boxes also feature non-slip rubber feet and locks. Thanks to enhanced locking plates, each model in the Petromax kx series can be secured by means of a U-lock.
Available in three colours, the Petromax kx cool boxes range in size from the compact 25L box, which weighs 10.75kg, to 50L (14.9kg), and up to the huge 75L box (19.6kg). Petromax also offers a range of accessories, including seat cushions, compatible baskets and locking plates with integrated bottle openers.
