Italian footwear brand DOLOMITE has a stellar line-up for 2025 including styles participating in the HIGHSNOBIETY platform at ISPO MUNICH this week. It will have its own dedicated space within 520M, Highsnobiety’s exhibition hub, where, along with leading international industry players, it will celebrate creativity, design and innovation.
Dolomite will showcase unique projects created with the aim of ‘exploring new aesthetic and communicative codes’, while continuing to focus on research into materials and function-led design.
Saxifraga
The theme of the new project is Glacial Vistas: the unique visual effect of ice mixed with water and stones, blending the blurriness, scratches and textures typical of glaciers. This vision translates into a sophisticated mix of tactile material textures with more linear surfaces and more severe colours, such as stone grey, with softer details that evoke glacial waters.
While the two models featured in this capsule, Saxifraga 2.0 High and Saxifraga 2.0 Warm, are designed for fast hiking and hikes on non-technical terrain, their versatility also makes them ideal for city settings.
Featuring a Vibram® sole with Traction Lug Technology, a temperature regulating layer in Primaloft with P.U.R.E Technology, and Kevlar yarn on the upper, Saxifraga 2.0 maintains all the essential technical features of a high-performance shoe without compromising its contemporary look.
54 High Dust GTX
54 High Dust GTX is the latest evolution of its iconic Cinquantaquattro. This new unisex shoe represents a blend of the brand’s heritage and a contemporary aesthetic, described as ‘a true gamechanger for those who live a city lifestyle with the spirit of the outdoors.’ It’s available in six colours, inspired by natural hues, as well as the original ‘dusty’ shades.
The classic lines of the 54 High Dust GTX draw on the iconic silhouette of the 54 range, enhanced by the ‘dusty’ effect of the upper, crafted in suede leather certified by the Leather Working Group. This original twist is complemented by a slimmer and lighter structure, partly thanks to details in vulcanised rubber whose pattern and colour resemble asphalt.
The lining in full grain leather and GORE-TEX ensures comfort and protection against any weather conditions. The Vibram sole with Ice Trek 2 compound ensures excellent grip on wet and icy terrain, adding the finishing touch to a shoe that seamlessly transitions from outdoor settings to more urban outfits.
The brand will also play an active role in the Panel Discussion to be held at 520M, addressing key topics for the outdoor sector and sharing insights drawn from over a century of experience. Dolomite will be participating in the talk ‘Blurring the lines between fashion and function in outdoor wear’, taking place at 520M on 3 December at 12.00 CET.
In addition to featuring at 520M, Dolomite will also have its own stand at ISPO as usual, where visitors can discover products for the 2025-26 Autumn/Winter season.
