BUFF®, a leader in multi-functional neck and headwear, marked this year’s Earth Day with a transformative tree-planting initiative – bringing together sixty employees in a shared commitment to sustainability and ecological restoration.
Held in Castell de Queralt (Bellprat), a region affected by forest fires and deforestation, the event saw participants plant 240 fruit trees, creating the BUFF Fruit Trees Forest – a contribution to local biodiversity and carbon offsetting.
The day also focused on biomass clean-up, manually clearing organic material to reduce the risk of future wildfires. The hands-on reforestation activity also served as a team-building experience, uniting people through purpose and nature.
This initiative reflects BUFF’s holistic approach to sustainability, encompassing responsible manufacturing, circular product design, minimising ecological impact at every stage of production.
