BERGHAUS has extended its range of versatile and flexible products for autumn/winter 2023 with the addition of three new waterproof jackets.
Available in men’s and women’s specific versions, the Vorlich, Truda Flex and Arnaby feature Gore-Tex, Pertex Shield and Hydroshell respectively, offering features and fabrics for a variety of end uses and conditions, at different price points.
Vorlich
The Vorlich is a new all-season 3L Gore-Tex waterproof jacket (suggested retail price – SRP – £300). It’s a robust shell designed for use in the hills and mountains throughout the year, described as ‘a no nonsense jacket ideal for long days outdoors when the weather turns wet and windy.’
The tough waterproof and breathable fabric has a PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) face and features include an adjustable fixed hood; cuff and hem adjustment; two lower zipped pockets and a zipped chest pocket. The women’s jacket weighs 442g at size 10 and a men’s medium weighs 520g.
Truda Flex
The new Truda Flex (SRP £270) is a versatile multi-activity jacket made from Pertex Shield with a PFC-free DWR. Waterproof and breathable, the fabric is also very stretchy, allowing for great freedom of movement and comfort at all times.
The jacket has a dynamic cut and features include a snug, fully adjustable fixed hood; water resistant pit zips; adjustable cuffs; adjustable dropped hem; two zipped lower hand pockets and a zipped chest pocket. The women’s Truda Flex weighs 420 (size 10) and the men’s weighs 480g (medium).
Arnaby
The Arnaby (SRP £150) is a lightweight and packable shell for walkers in a stretchy Berghaus Hydroshell fabric. The 2.5L waterproof and breathable material has a soft feel for added comfort.
Features include a fixed hood with single point adjustment; water resistant centre front zip with internal storm flap; and two zipped lower hand pockets. The women’s Arnaby weighs 298g (size 10) and the men’s weighs 338g (medium).
