UK Key Account Manager

Haglöfs AB is now recruiting a UK Key Account Manager. The position is a permanent full-time position that reports directly to the Country Manager UK. The incumbent will be an important contributor in developing the Haglöfs brand on the UK market together with the Country Manager and the rest of the team. 

Haglöfs develops, sells and distributes premium outdoor equipment for anyone who wants to explore the outdoors. By focusing on high quality, durability and functionality, we ensure great outdoor experiences for our consumers. As the UK Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving a profitable sales and customer agenda for the Key Accounts, with focus both on maximizing sales growth from existing customers as well as developing new Strategic accounts. You will also be responsible for managing and meeting your customers’ needs from sell in, to staff training and the provision of merchandising support, focused on delivering strong sell through. You are also expected to contribute to the functional development of the sales team and reaching the UK team’s strategic goals. 

The job will require travelling to visit customers, attendance at trade shows, international sales meetings and brand events. 

You should have a relevant educational background and previous experience from sales and managing key customer relations. We also hope you share our passion for the outdoors and strive to be part of a great product development team. 

Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Manage and develop the Key account sales in line with Haglöfs strategic direction and KPI’s
  • Champion Key account management (KAM) program and drive implementation across sales team
  • Develop JBP’s to align business expectations and maintained planned growth
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Ensure excellence in customer follow up, distribution, sell-through, brand building and merchandising.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience from key account management
  • Proven Track Record as successful Key Account Manager
  • Strong retail knowledge and negotiation skills
  • Commercially oriented and a high level of drive and initiative
  • Structured and able to plan ahead
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills – building long-term relationships and communicating clear directions to external and internal stakeholders
  • A general understanding of the outdoor and retail business value chain.
