AMG Group Ltd, an exciting multi-branded company (Vango, Force Ten, Lichfield, Anatom, Rossignol, Trangia & Wayfayrer) and one of the UK’s most successful, within the Outdoor & Snowsport Leisure Industry, has the following vacancy: - 

                               UK FIELD SALES MANAGER
                             {Ideal Location : Midlands}
                      Competitive salary plus bonus & benefits 

Reporting to the UK Sales Director you will be required to:- 

  • Actively manage, motivate and further develop the existing Team of Territory Account Managers (currently 6), into a high performance unit, which will involve a minimum of 2 consecutive nights per week, away from home. 
  • Maximise sales results in order to achieve both short-term sales plans and to build/secure long term business relationships. 
  • Maximise profitability by driving product mix across our enviable portfolio of market leading brands, throughout your own personal and team’s account base. 
  • Prepare and execute Business Plans for your own customers and assist your team with such documents, ensuring that there are clear promotional plans in place, which will deliver the expected Business results. 
  • Deliver accurate and timeous Sales Forecasts for your own account base and that of your team, in order that inventory can be managed with a view to “minimising” obsolete and excess stock. 
  • Become a role model and champion of change. 
  • Develop strong inter-departmental relationships, to the benefit of all stakeholders. 

We are looking for a confident, self-motivated individual, who will be an inspirational leader to their Team and colleagues alike, possessing and displaying a “can do” attitude.

As such, this opportunity will appeal to an Experienced Account Manager, preferably from within the Outdoor/Sports Industry, who can successfully demonstrate strong sales achievement to date. 

Your personal attributes, will include excellent communication, social and organisational skills, an enthusiastic and outgoing personality, in addition to possessing a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
