Territory Account Manager - South

MONTANE is currently recruiting for the position of Territory Account Manager (South) to join our busy UK Sales Team.  The ideal candidate will be an individual who loves the mountains and who is passionate about the outdoors.

Reporting into the UK Sales Manager, the candidate will be charged with managing an existing Independent account base across outdoor and run within the South of England. The area is to be managed as your own, servicing the needs of each customer and with the expectation that the area is developed. There is also a responsibility to support the UK Sales Manager with National Accounts as needed, international trade shows and events.

The position by its very nature is field based and this requires time away from home.

  • Previous account management experience in the outdoor sports market
  • A good understanding of the UK outdoor and run market
  • Self-motivated, driven and highly organised
  • Confident, articulate and engaging
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Understanding of business fundamentals
  • Active in outdoor activities
  • Comfortable travelling
  • Midlands / Southern location
  • Full UK Driving Licence
