About the Role:

This is a great opportunity to make a big impact on sales growth in an upcoming brand with huge potential. We’re looking for a passionate individual who shares our vision and who has the enthusiasm and drive to get the range of high quality red original products in to retailer and consumer hands.

There is an existing footprint of UK Red Paddle Co retailers, some of whom already take Red Original products.  The focus of this role will be to research and identify new opportunities for Red Original, creating a strategy for sales growth and bringing on new accounts which reflect the sales opportunity, including a broader audience beyond purely SUP.

This role has a key responsibility for achieving sales targets whilst ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Reporting to:  Red Paddle Co UK Brand Manager

The role will see the applicant sit with the sales team, as well as spending time with the marketing and brand team to ensure they are closely aligned with the strategy and marketing plans for the brand, as well as influencing the team to get the support they need to grow their accounts.

Location: Based in South Devon with national and potentially international travel for customer visits, events and shows. Some requirement for working at weekends for events.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Creating a sales strategy for Red Original
  • Growing sales of Red Original through new retail channels
  • Promoting and selling Red Original products across the UK
  • Responsible for all aspects of the sales process and driving sales to achieve individual sales targets.
  • Manage and maintain B2B client relationships, identifying key areas within B2B accounts for growth.
  • Communicate effectively with all key contacts to ensure relationships are managed to the highest standard of professionalism.
  • Represent the organisation at events/demos that fall on both weekdays and weekends.
  • Research and identify new markets and business opportunities.
  • Produce monthly sales reports looking at product performance against targets and forecasting future performance.
  • Maintain an excellent level of brand and product knowledge, staying close to plans being developed by the marketing team, and ensuring retailer needs are represented, whilst working to the bigger goal of building the Red Original brand overall.
  • Strong emphasis on visiting and managing accounts, as well as bringing on new accounts. 

Other Key Skill 

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Numerate and analytical
  • Proficient at using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Proactive and can work well alone as well as in a team 

Experience / Qualifications Required:

  • 2+ years B2B sales experience
  • An interest in outdoor pursuits, watersports or an active lifestyle
