The role

We are looking to expand our team to include a talented Marketing professional - one that is knowledgeable, skilled and demonstrably effective at customer acquisition and brand communication.

Working closely with our department heads, our inhouse creative team and the board of Directors you would be required to take full ownership and responsibility for your individual role and the marketing department as a whole. You would be expected to successfully promote our products and services to our core markets and consumers through a well-developed and successful marketing campaign.

Essential Experience, Skills and Traits

History of Success - 3-5 years of demonstrable experience within Marketing management and a successful track record of implementing strong marketing campaigns. Proven track record of successfully working with partners and stakeholders to achieve common goals and objectives.

Live the Outdoors - A passion for the outdoors and a real understanding of the brands and the needs of outdoor users (including climbers, mountaineers, backpackers, trekkers, skiers and adventure travellers).

A People Person - Enthusiastic, hard-working and able to motivate, enthuse and engage your team and other colleagues.

A Great Storyteller - Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Organised and Diligent - The ability to plan, organise, prioritize and meet multiple deadlines. Previous experience with Microsoft Office 365 products, especially Teams and Excel.

Intelligent – Degree or equivalent professional qualification

Competent with Technology - A sound grasp of ICT skills such as using Microsoft Office, social media platforms and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Your Indicators of Success

To grow at the rate we intend, Trekitt needs to attract new customers and increase overall sales opportunities every month. This is the critical KPI against which success will be measured.

We would want to see a steady growth in the number of opportunities coming from our social media platforms, especially YouTube. Development and execution of a clearly defined and continuous campaign in these areas full would be fundamental to the role.
