Mammut UK - Customer Services Representative

Central Manchester

Mammut is a well established, innovative and industry leading Swiss Mountain Sports brand positioned at the premium and technical end of the market. Based in central Manchester –the Mammut UK team currently have an exciting opportunity to join us in a full-time position as a Customer Services Representative. 

The job will involve: 

  • Responding to customer queries and requests (B2B and B2C) via telephone and email in a helpful and respectful manner
  • General administration duties as required
  • Preorder and in-season reorder entry, allocation and management via an integrated ERP system -training will be provided but prior experience of using an ERP is essential
  • Reporting on the current season orderbook to identify orders for shipping and to provide feedback on potential availability issues
  • Liaising with the logistics team to ensure that deliveries are made efficiently, accurately and inline with customer expectations
  • Liaising with and assisting the finance team when required
  • Receiving and booking in warranty returns before following a defined processes through to completion  
  • Liaising with our customer services and the repair centre in Germany where necessary in order to coordinate warranty/repair cases and secure payment where required
  • Building and maintaining close working relationships both internally with Mammut colleagues and externally with customer accounts  

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have extensive experience with all aspects of customer service
  • Able to problem solve and devise creative solutions quickly and to the satisfaction of customers 
  • Be computer literate (particularly with Microsoft Excel) and have previous experience of using an ERP platform (Ideally Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Have a good basic understanding of technical outdoor products

  • Keen eye for detail and ability to spot anomalies and pertinent information within large volumes of data
