Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Content Manager is responsible for working with the Marketing & Omnichannel Team to develop relevant, engaging and consistent customer content for Cotswold Outdoor, Snow+Rock, Runners Need and Cycle Surgery by developing and maintaining a clear Tone of Voice for each brand.
This role is also responsible for growing and engaging with customers via social media channels.
You role will cover the following areas:
Develop a clear Tone of Voice for each brand that can be adapted to different customer profiles, objectives and touchpoints including:
Act as guardian of the Tone of Voice for the brands across all channels and maintain consistent and inspiring tone of voice to help develop a clear market position and differentiation to ultimately engage customers and drive sales.
Work together with Marketing teams understand key objectives and create overarching brand and compelling seasonal campaign stories that translate into customer facing messages for all channels.
Create, manage and maintain the Seasonal Content Pack and plans for each brand and ensure they are 'kept alive’ throughout each season, across all channels.
Lead Content Planning sessions and create, manage and maintain weekly/monthly/seasonal/annual Content Calendar with a clear customer facing message hierarchy including the following messages:
Guide content creation teams to ensure all communications are consistent to the seasonal plan and carry the right customer facing tone of voice.
Act as a conduit between Marketing and the Creative team to brief and deliver creative assets ensuring the one voice is aligned with overall brand identity with tailor messaging/content for different channels including:
Engage with Marketing team and PR agency to ensure alignment on:
Work with stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, relevant and optimised across all channels.
Define and deliver weekly email content (with input from other stakeholders) to include as appropriate:
Working with clear KPIs, develop and deliver an engaging Social Media strategy to:
Manage a team of copywriters and social media executives to deliver inspiring, engaging and on-brand communications whether that be with a band or commercial led focus.
